Pistes Zugspitze Arena 

Mahbergstubrl is located in the snow-sure Austrian village of Bichlbach at a healthy altitude of 1,079m, just over the German border.
Bichlbach is located in the heart of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena and is surrounded by the Lechtaler Alps and the beautiful massif of the Zugspitz Glacier, which at 2,962m is the highest mountain of the Zugspitz Arena.

A stone's throw from our Mahbergstubrl   take the Sonnenbichllift or the modern Almkopfbahn gondola which takes you in just a few minutes to the Bichlbach/Berwang area where you can ski or snowboard to your heart's content. If skiing is not for you, but you still want to enjoy the enchanting snow landscapes, then the more than 100 beautiful hiking and climbing routes are among the many options.

If you want to test a different area every day, no problem. The Top Snow Card gives you access to the entire Zugspitz Arena, Garmisch Partenkirchen, Mittenwald and Grainau. Snowpark & Funslope

Op de Almkopf vind je een aantal ramps maar voor het echte jump werk verwijzen je toch door naar Ehrwald.

 

Freestylers kunnen zich bij de Ehrwalder Alm verheugen op een eigen snowpark voor beginners en profs. Centraal in het skigebied en langs de Kämmli-piste kunnen wintersporters hier hun skivaardigheden op de proef stellen. Praktisch: de Klämmli-lift is net zo lang als het snowpark. Zo kunnen freeriders heel ontspannen de ene na de andere ronde maken – totdat de lift sluit.

SKIGEBIED ZUGSPITZE
Het Zugspitzplatt op bijna 3000 meter hoogte

Wintersportets die in de Tiroler Zugspitz Arena op zoek zijn naar een buitengewone ervaring, vinden die op de Zugspitze. Op het Zugspitzplatt om precies te zijn. Dat is een plateau net onder de top van de hoogste berg van Duitsland. In de zomer doorkruisen wandelaars dit hoge plateau van karstgesteente, in de winter dient het voor skiërs en snowboarders als een klein maar fijn skigebied. U bereikt het sneeuwplezier op comfortabele wijze met de Zugspitzbahn.
